“It provided everything we wanted and expected from the holiday, rest and relaxation, we were completely de-stressed for the week”
Pencraig Farm is ideally located for people wanting a relaxing, peaceful holiday.
Four holiday cottages on farm land with horses, sheep, chickens and guinea fowl.
Walking distance to the busy town of Cardigan and only 10 mins drive from idyllic beaches.
The location is ideal for getting away from town life.
The farm is surrounded by panoramic views.
Despite the fact that there are four holiday cottages on the farm it is very quiet.
We are a fairly small family and only just fitted into the bedroom closet toilets and showers. I think larger people might struggle to use the facilities.
The shower in the main bedroom leaked and our stay would have been improved with provision of some inexpensive essentials such as soap, sugar, condiments, washing powder. A welcome pack of basics could be provided at minimal cost.
There are many places to eat in Cardigan Town some of the places recommended in the welcome folder have closed down (e.g. Quick Chip and Italia restaurant in Aberporth).
Castle Cafe is very reasonable with a good friendly service. The local coffee shops and bakers are of good quality and very reasonable prices.
We used the Services after the Severn Bridge but wouldn’t recommend it as value for money!
