“A great holiday in a fantastic caravan, in a smashing location”
Situated on a peaceful site, with facilities for families, with entertainment in the evenings, we enjoyed a restful and quiet four nights.
The accommodation is of the highest standard, spotlessly clean, the quality of everything being first class, could not have wished for better, topped off with lovely views over Portland.
The owners, Stewart and Carol, are very friendly and greet you personally. They also leave you a welcome pack which is much appreciated.
We hope to return soon, as we enjoyed the stay so much.
The bus stops just outside the site into Weymouth, great for leaving the car on the site, and not worrying about all the hassle of parking or driving into Weymouth, just sit back and relax.
Be Aware:Everything you need is provided. Only items needed to bring are towels
Local Gems:Try The Crab House for a meal, a short walk just outside the site.

“Memorable!”
A gem of a find!
Spotless and modern with relaxing views, the site is quiet and well kept.
The owners greet visitors on arrival and are very helpful. The little extras they give are really unexpected and welcomed i.e. tea, coffee, sugar, biscuits, oil and vinegar and lots more things that make it a home from home
If you are looking for a relaxing mobile home holiday with great views and very stylish interior then Fleet View comes highly recommended.
Walking and sightseeing are so close with some great restaurants!!

“The best holiday we have ever had”
The caravan was absolutely stunning, spotlessly clean and had everything you could need. The views over Portland were lovely to wake up to every day.
The welcome pack of tea, biscuits, sugar was wonderful to arrive to after a long journey.
The owners, Stewart and Carol, were lovely, very friendly and thoughtful. The birthday present they left for me was a wonderful and very kind surprise.
Overall I cannot recommend them and their caravan highly enough and will definitely be returning for another holiday.
It is by far the best caravan we have ever stayed in - it was stunning.
A visit to Bennetts water gardens in Chickerell and Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens are definitely a must see.

“A fantastic holiday in a great location”
The accommodation was spotless and just as advertised. Very homely and luxurious. It was so quiet, even in August
Fleet View has great views from the deck and holiday home, overlooking the Fleet and across to Portland Harbour. The sun shone all week, the site was amazingly quiet considering it is August and we gather from staff on site they were full. The owners confirmed it is a site where people respect each other’s right to peace and quiet.
The home had everything you could want, it’s very well equipped with quality equipment, it was spotlessly clean, the beds were made for our arrival. The owners, Stewart and Carol were there to greet us, they even talked us in by mobile phone when our Sat Nav led us astray!
Whether you stay in their Fleet View or Chesil View home, you will have a good stay in quality accommodation with A-Break-Away. Well done to Stewart and Carol
Portland Harbour, the Sailing Academy and windsurfing are right on the doorstep, as is the Rodwell Trail.
Local Gems:Crab House Cafe - fantastic seafood restaurant.
The Nothe Cafe.
Time For Tea in Hope Square.
The Lobster Pot- great cream tea.
The Lookout-Bowlease Cove.
The Botany Bay on the A35 - brilliant lunch with nice views from garden.

“Fantastic, we’ve returned already and re-booked for later this year”
I have never stayed anywhere so spotlessly clean and tidy. The attention to detail was brilliant. Everything we needed was on hand.
There was a welcome pack of biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar and milk. They even put in a hairdryer, kitchen towel, toilet roll, bin liners and washing-up liquid.
The owners live locally and were there to meet us, nothing seemed too much trouble. The site is 5 star, everywhere was clean and tidy, the staff were all plesant.
Fantastic deck to sit and enjoy a glass of wine or our breakfast. We were so impressed with Fleet View, we’ve been back and stayed in Chesil View for a weekend.
There’s a fish restaurant nearby called The Crab House that the owners recommended. It was out of this world for a special holiday meal.
Be Aware:The homes are no smoking, and we thought this could be better advertised
Local Gems:The Crab House Cafe - just below accomodation site
FishnFritz chip shop - Weymouth
Lobster Pot - Portland Bill - for cream tea
Brewers Quay and Hope Square
