“A relaxing and enjoyable stay in Minehead”
A group of friends stayed in three of the Lodges, which were all comfortable and a good size for the different number of people in each party. We found the owners very friendly and welcoming.
The location of the Lodges is lovely, with georgeous views over Minehead town and the bay. The location is also very quiet and close to good walking areas.
The children loved being together and met in the Games Room on site. We would definitely consider returning to the Lodges for another holiday.
The friendly welcome and location of the lodges.
Local Gems:The Luttrell Arms in Dunster for a great dinner.
Dunster village and castle.
Minehead beach and the Steam Railway.
The local area is very picturesque, with many local attractions - not many open in the winter.

“An excellent place to stay be it for a long weekend or annual holiday”
We have stayed a number of times at Woodcombe over the years and in a number of different chalets. They have all be excellent!
They are comfortable - warm in winter and cool in summer - well-equipped, especially the kitchen, and the view from the veranda is great. We stay with our two Spaniels and it is very easy with dogs.
Property is very close to Minehead town centre, but you do not feel as if you are in suburbia. The other chalets have not disturbed us as the placement of the chalets is thoughtful and affords privacy. Wi-Fi and mobile connection is always excellent.
The properties are very easy to live in and the location is peaceful but not remote.

“Great value for comfort and view, close to Minehead town centre.”
Stayed at Woodcombe Lodges from the 30 Oct 2013.
Andrew and Nicola communicated with us and could not do enough to accommodate our stay for our three day sea fishing trip out of Minehead.
We were going to arrive later in the day as we had a trip first off on our first day, but this was not a problem for Andrew and Nicola as they arranged the keys for us to accommodate our lodge.
The accommodation was superb and was ideal for our needs and the view was spectacular and the envoiroment was quiet and calm. I would bring my family here without hessitation.
Stay at these value-for-money lodges. Well worth every penny.

“A very scenic and peaceful holiday lodge”
What a wonderful relaxing holiday!! The scenic location was idyllic and so peaceful. Such views!
The lodge was clean and had all your basic needs.
The area is very hilly so you need to be reasonably fit or use a car.
We had two 15 year olds with us and they spent their time at the beach arcades and shops in Minehead. We would definitely like to go back.
The stunning views around the area.
Local Gems:The Hairy Dog pub in Minehead did great food at reasonable prices.
En Route:Drive the coastal road from Minehead to Combe Martin. Scenery is stunning.
