“A place to which we will definitely return”
We have been to Rainbow’s End Park before but Gintende was by far the best cottage we have stayed in. There is easy walking to the beach and plenty of room to exercise our dog.
Sofas and bed were very comfortable and great care had been taken with the decor. We wanted peace and quiet and time to de-stress - we got all three. It is perfect for well-behaved dogs with well-behaved owners. A favourite of ours.
I wouldn’t recommend paying for the local Wi-Fi service. Very poor connection.
Local Gems:Bacton Woods is well worth a visit if you have a dog.
Happisburgh beach, just down the road, is beautiful.
Cambridge Services on the A14 is always our half way house. Has everything we need plus a walking area for dogs.

“The Best of everything”
Fabulous cottage, just superb all round place to stay.
People very friendly and extremely helpful.
Beach is wonderful, very clean, lots of fab walks if you want them.
We have been to lots of places in England and abroad, but for peace and quiet you will not find another place like it, you can hear a pin drop.
And we will, without a doubt, be returning next year.
Jo & Steve Watson.
Found on web, will recommend to all.
Local Gems:Poachers Pocket Pub on main road. Food excellent along with staff in every possible way.
Market stalls in Norwich.
Cathedral also in Norwich.
Norwich - a very large shopping place. Lots of shops as well as a market place.

“Beautiful accommodation and location”
The property is in a stunning location and very close to a sandy, clean beach which is ideal for families. The property had a contemporary feel and was clean and well maintained, with a veranda with sea views.
We wanted a holiday for families that wasn’t too noisy and in your face and you didn’t feel as if you were encroaching on your neighbours. We feel this is suitable for all types of people who prefer something a bit quieter
We would recommend this and have booked to go back next year.
Very peaceful location and proximity to the beach makes it excellent value.
Be Aware:The one downside - and this isn’t the owners fault - but the internet was really poor even using the site connection, and our mobile phones hardly had a signal. We’re with O2, so you just need to be aware of that.
Local Gems:The Lighthouse Inn, 10 mins drive down the road was a lovely place to eat.
Plus the Bacton Cafe did some great snacks for lunch etc to eat in or take away
Sandringham House and Estate was worth a visit.

“The pot of gold at the rainbow’s end!”
Was really well situated, lovely decor throughout, couldn’t really fault. Owner seems to pay attention to detail - excellent condition, beds very comfortable. Really cater for all possible comforts of home.
Wished we had brought the dog as would have been ideal as plenty of lovely walks in all surrounding areas, with easy access to beaches.
The Lighthouse public house has a good choice of food and will go that extra mile if you would like to take out.
Would recommend to all ages
Local Gems:Wroxham Barns worth a visit.
Could be combined with Roys of Wroxham
Also Holt and Cromer worth visiting

“Pure relaxation, great views, a very friendly park”
When we left our home it was snowing, upon arrival at Gintende it didn’t take long to get cosy. A fabulous view overlooking the sea greeted us, and brilliant sunshine.
Good for families it has a large expanse of green in front of the chalet, and there is plenty of space for them to let off steam.
Our chalet had two bedrooms, one double and two singles, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge area.
All chalets have verandas at front, nice to sit and relax with a glass of wine and watch the sun setting over the sea. The beach is virtually on the doorstep just a short walk away with it stretching as far as the eye can see.
Gintende has been beautifully refurbished by the owners
to a good modern standard, well equipped with everything you could wish for whatever the weather - I noticed even hot water bottles provided!
Our stay was very comfortable so relaxing, and the view to die for. Looking forward to returning in August.
Clean beaches
By-the-sea walking.
The Ship Inn at Mundesley - good food and atmosphere, good sea views.
The Kingfisher Cafe - the best cooked breakfast in Norfolk - spotlessly clean.
Norwich Cathedral and City is a must to visit, has a park and ride - no hassle.
Great Yarmouth and attractions for the children.
Happisburgh and the lighthouse.
