A four-star rated converted stable and barn offering single-level accommodation for four. Set in large grounds in the centre of the village, overlooking the green, just 50 yards from the pub.
Large entrance hall with coat pegs and mirror. Lounge-dining room with door to conservatory, flat screen TV, DVD player and music centre. Central heating and wood-burning stove. Fully equipped kitchen with four-ring hob, electric oven, fridge and microwave. Freezer in adjoining pantry. Views across private garden. South-facing double bedroom - no steps - cot available on request. Further twin bedded room.
Grounds extend to two paddocks and orchard plus private garden with outdoor seating and wide ranging views. Off-road parking for two cars Food available at the 17th century Royal Oak where Keepers Cottage guests can pre-order breakfast - menus in cottage. Easy access to Kirkbymoorside (2 miles) and Pickering (10 miles).

“Ideal holiday cottage in a peaceful, rural location”
We found Keepers Cottage to be the ideal place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday being located in a small village. It is well situated for visiting the coast and York, with many interesting walks that can be started from the doorstep.
The cottage was very clean and well equipped and has everything one could want for a comfortable break. The Royal Oak located nearby serves excellent, reasonably priced food which saves cooking after a busy day out! The owners who live next door are very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.
We have been visiting this cottage for the last seven years and every time we have been delighted to be back.
