“Fabulous Place to Spend your Holiday”
We stayed at Blackberry Barn for a week from 21st June. As soon as we arrived, we got the ’WoW’ factor and it got better as we entered the property. The patio area was spacey and even had a barbeque for us to use, but we never had time to use it.
One thing we DID use was the hot tub. This was fantastic for us after our long and sometimes arduous walks. It was easy to use and had a sound system built in.
The living area was spacious, with an L shaped sofa and there was a large TV which had Freeview. There was also a DVD player for use and some selected DVDs. In one of the cupboards there was a selection of board games to play.
Our bedroom had a double bed and the finishing touches were very welcome. There was a large sliding wardrobe for our clothes as well.
The bathroom had a Jacuzzi style bath (unnecessary due to hot tub, unless you don’t like hot tubs) plus a walk-in shower. The whole room was a wet room so it didn’t matter if water splashed on the floor. There were robes & slippers, plus a pamper pack for each person.
In addition, there was an area in the top field where you can sunbathe and relax with seats supplied. We tried on our only day off and it started to rain, but we did have time for a drink and a bit of sunshine.
Perfect for pet owners who wish to take their pets with them, including horses.
Local Gems:Didn’t go out too much due to walking, but it is very close to Polperro & Looe
En Route:A nice place to stop, was the Halfway House Inn, situated on the A38 between Liskeard & Carminnow Cross.

“Luxury in the country”
Quality cottage-barn conversions in peaceful scenic countryside not far from the coast.
Clean, comfortable with very modern touches throughout. Hot tub and barbeques, nice walks from doorstep. Dog- and horse-friendly.
High quality accommodation at a fair price.
If you want good quality accommodation in a peaceful environment near the coast, and you also have a dog then this is the place. You will not be disappointed.
Local Gems:Llansallos Cove, Polpero.
