“Dog Friendly!”
The cottage was perfect for our anniversary break, the log burner helped add a romantic feel. We wanted a dog-friendly place to accommodate our collie, it was great for this, with the woodland walk and dog exercise area right on site.
It was a quiet location, but this suited what we wanted and it was a drive to the nearest pub, so be aware of this if you like going out for a drink.
Horse riding at Lower Tokenbury
Use the hot tub!
Go on the place on the hill to feel the sun on your face
Polperro very nice Drive to Polruan and get on the small ferry to Fowey. Footpaths on the map in local area are not very well used and even as exerience map readers found the gfact land owners had totally blocked routes difficult.

“Fantastic place, fantastic people, sad we had to leave”
Where do you start with the Honey Pot...... Well on arrival you are met with a welcome basket with local produce and handwritten card.
The decor and quality of the accommodation is second to none. We have stayed in 5 star before but Jo and Mike go one step further - the place is immaculate with hot tub, gym and pamper room on site. They have a dog pen for the mutts to run and even a new dog walk around the vast land of the property.
Yes it’s rural. Yes it’s quiet. But Yes it’s excellent and the only thing we could fault was that we had to leave. Believe me when I say you need to only bring yourself and maybe a fan in the hotter months as the Honey Pot has everything you need.
Looe, and the dog-friendly beaches
Also the Jubilee Inn is a fantastic place to eat and have a drink

“Fabulous place to stay. Great location and friendly owners”
Excellent base to explore some of Cornwall. Honey Pot Cottage was well equipped and with a modern decor, with all the comforts of home.
The warm and friendly owners could not do enough for us, they were so helpful. We would recommend a stay there and look forward to another stay in the future.
Lovely rural location good for walking and seeing some lovely countryside.
Local Gems:Fowey and Mevagissey are worth a visit and the beach at Seaton.

“Go at once - it will be your most relaxing holiday ever!”
We had an utterly fantastic honeymoon in The Honey Pot at Old Lanwarnick. The cottage was immaculately finished and clearly a great deal of thought has gone into planning the whole place. It has everything you could ever want.
It also feels beautifully secluded and private and yet is in easy reach of lots of great places. The hot tub is wonderful and it was the perfect place to relax at the end of a long day and the BBQ spot up on the hill is also lovely, with fantastic view across the valley.
Jo and Mike were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and full of useful knowledge about the nicest places to visit, eat, etc and the welcome hamper was also a really nice touch containing everything you could want for a late supper, tasty breakfast or afternoon tea.
Our little dog, Sukey, also had a brilliant time and the set-up for people wanting to travel with their dogs is great. She loved playing in the fenced paddock area and it was great to be able to leave her behind if we wanted to go to a non-dog friendly place and know that someone was there checking in on her and playing with her.
All in all a brilliant and special place and we recommend it highly. We hope to be back soon!
For a special treat we also ordered the ’’champagne breakfast’’ which was delicious. The bagels even had different fillings, catering to our different likes!
Local Gems:Lansallos Beach is a short drive away and is a lovely secluded little cove that you have to walk to. Great for swimming, BBQs and lovely walks along the cliffs
En Route:We drove down from Peterbrough (which is quite a long way!) and en-route we stopped at Cheddar Gorge for a walk by the river.

“Luxurious break at Honey Pot Cottage”
Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Better than a hotel !!!!
Very stylish barn conversions set in a tranquil and secluded spot, but not far from the beach. Great for walking and taking the dog on long walks along the costal paths.
Would definitely recommend.
