“Friendly owner lets perfect cottage in nice surroundings”
The cottage is located at the end of a cul-de-sac street in Steeple Ashton which is a little bit away from the main traffic streams, hence perfectly quiet. The nearby airfield did not bother us at all, apparently most of the users are gliders.
The cottage has two bedrooms, a sitting room, a bathroom and a small kitchen. It might be a bit narrow for four adults, but for two adults with or without children it seems ideal.
The whole cottage is very nicely decorated with everything in perfect condition. Specially the kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need. The beds are extremely comfortable.
The owner lives nearby and is very helpful with advices and recommendations. Lots of well structured and up-to-date informations can be found in a folder in the cottage itself.
Penny and Peter were very welcoming and we found a jug of milk and chocolate cake when we arrived late on Friday.
We would recommend the Cottage to anyone who likes to spend his holidays in a quiet and well kept ambiance.

Owner’s Reply:
’’We are so pleased that you were delighted with the cottage and your holiday in this area.
Wiltshire is too often the county to drive through en route to the West Country and visitors are not always aware of the wealth of attractions on offer, especially the smaller little known houses and gardens.
I do hope we will see you again on your next visit to the U.K. Thank you’’ - Penny.

“A perfect cottage for a weekend break”
Coachman’s is an extremely well-equipped, spotlessly clean and delightfully furnished cottage in the pretty village of Steeple Ashton. The welcome tea tray and brownies were an added bonus!
The cottage is in a very peaceful location and the beds comfortable, so a good night’s sleep should be guaranteed. Penny, (the owner), was very helpful both before we arrived and also during our stay.
There are many interesting and lovely places to visit within easy travelling distance and good pubs serving excellent food within a short drive. The village pub is popular and is a lovely place for a drink although unfortunately we had a disappointing meal there so I could not recommend it for food. The village shop is also excellent. All in all, we had a great stay there and hope to return.
Location.

Property suited to couples who enjoy staying in a quiet, beautiful village. Immaculately presented cottage run by friendly host, Penny.
Shop, run by villagers, stocks most requirements. Village pub is good for meals.
We have used this cottage many times when visiting the area, and would highly recommend it.
We would recommend the comfort and cleanliness of cottage. Also welcoming and helpful owners.
