Think ’Posh Camping’ with a Moroccan feel, yet nestled in a secluded valley, surrounded by woodland and on the River Derwent. Three 16 ft diameter Yurts can accommodate five people each on one double and two single futons, plus a blow-up matress for the fifth guest.
Wood burning stove (with integrated oven) and raised wooden floor covered with Moroccan style rugs. Each Yurt has a fully equipped and functional kitchen, gas hob & grill. Large central sky light, Moroccan lantern, solar fairy lights and lamps.
Outdoor activities from learning bush craft to days in the mountains or on the lakes, rock climbing, abseiling, moonlit canoe trips - all available from site with highly qualified, experienced instructors.
2.5 miles to The Scafell Inn, via road or walk by the river. Cooked breakfasts at The Shepherd’s Cafe before 11am. Keswick a 10 minute drive for supermarket, shops and market Saturday & Thursday.
