“Great place to stay in North Norfolk”
We have stayed at Wood Farm many times. There are a small number of beautifully presented, converted barn, cottages.
They are fully equipped (decent internet coverage) and appeal to us because we have young children who can play outside in safety, and provide a quiet, relaxed atmosphere for us and the dog.
We would recommend Wood Farm to all groups - the access is good for wheelchairs.
The location is perfect for us. It is in the middle of the countryside yet close to shopping and some decent pub-restaurants.
Bring walking gear - it’s generally flat so suitable for all but offers some really good walks across Kelling Heath and along the various beaches.
Holt for shopping, Sheringham for a proper seaside town, the Shell Museum at Glandford for something unexpected.
The Pigs for a great pub.
Kelling-Salthouse Heath for the wildlife. Muckleburgh Collection, Thursford Collection, Holkham Hall for adult days out.
Dinosaur Park, Holkham Beach Shire Horse Sanctuary for kids.
Stopped at Grimes Graves prehistoric flint mines. The kids loved going 30ft down into the mine.
