“Excellent, well-equipped cottage for both able and disabled guests”
The cottage is very well equipped for wheelchairs and those with mobility problems. It is an excellent base to tour Devon and Cornwall.
The accommodation was very clean and had everything you could want from a self catering cottage.
Cream scones, bread and wine on arrival were well received by all !
Thank you Jonathan !
The Eden Project is very wheelchair-friendly and has electric chairs to hire for no charge if needed. Take a brolly !!
Local Gems:The Rifle Volunteer pub nearby, excellent food and value for money.
Tavistock for general shopping and markets.
Tintagel Castle, lots of steps but worth the effort for wonderful views.

“Absolutely Fabulous!”
Whilst being accurately described on the website, Cider Press exceeded our expectations - the accommodation was excellent
One of the owners, Jonanthan, is wheelchair-bound himself, so knows all the pitfalls that can occur.
Cider Press is totally accessible to all forms of mobility, whether completely wheelchair-dependent or other.
There is every item imaginable in the kitchen, a lovely patio area and excellent farm eggs.
There is nothing to inhibit anyone - the ground floor is all accessible - although you do need your own transport.
The family were extremely helpful and very friendly - we only had to ask if we needed anything - but we didn’t need to!
There is a lot of information in the cottage brochure when you arrive, plus of course other visitors’ comments in the Visitors Book - we have all added where attractions are accessible, and also costs etc.
En Route:Didn’t really discover anywhere nice to stop en-route - it is always service stations etc!!
