“Nothing is too much trouble”
This was our fourth stay in six years. Each time it just gets better and better!
The house is ideally situated five mins walk from the harbourside. It is very quiet and our room had a view over the bay. It is a steep walk to the harbour, but without the walk you wouldn’t get the views! Alan & Jeanette provide binoculars!
The little extras are too numerous to mention, there are some soft bath robes, shortbread, chocolates, cafetiere in room with coffee, bottled water, hot water bottles with furry covers (not that you need them), a huge selection of books (novels, field guides, local books etc).
Alan has excellent local knowledge of restaurants, walks, shops, wildlife and trips!
They have two beautiful dogs and a cat and are doggy friendly.
Breakfast is tremendous, wonderful fish.
This is home-from-home, everything is just total comfort!
Local Gems:Calgary Bay - super beach.
