“Great host, beautiful setting!”
We had a lovely break at Stilegate. We were in the area for a wedding at St Audries and the location couldn’t have been more convenient.
Heidi was really helpful and went out of her way to help with anything we needed, whilst leaving us to our own devices.
We stayed in the annexe which would be great for people with limited mobility or pushchairs or mountain bikes.
The brand new, outdoor pool. Although we didn’t use it we understand that guests will be able to use it from 4-7pm.
Local Gems:We were in the area for a wedding so did not really have an opportunity to explore. There is a conveniently placed shop (incl off licence) next door though!

“A perfect weekend away!”
Stilegate can only be described as the perfect B&B! Our stay was everything we could have wished for.
The accommodation was warm, spotlessly clean and pleasantly decorated. It felt like we were home-from-home.
The tea and coffee on arrival and fresh fruit in the rooms are such lovely touches that you don’t get in many places.
Heidi and her husband went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to ensure that we had everything that we needed.
The small shop-petrol station just over the road is very handy and the Windmill Pub, a short walk away, was cheap and cheerful if a little quiet.
Plenty of parking space
Warm friendly welcome
Spacious room, spotlessly clean
The breakfast was very very delicious
Our SatNav did not like the postcode and we ended up in the middle of nowhere. If, however you stay on the main road you will find it with no problems.
Local Gems:The Windmill Bar in West Quantoxhead was cheap and cheerful and the food was pleasant.
St Audries (where we went to a friend’s wedding) was a beautiful venue with stunning views, wonderful food, friendly staff but steep bar prices.
SatNav will probably take you to the garage next door - stick to the A39 and you can’t go wrong! - Heidi
