“Relaxing, recharging, recommended”
Location is exceptional. It was bigger than we expected. Truly stress-free place for a holiday with dogs. Huge garden.
Gorgeous location at the end of a track. Very comfortable accommodation, especially loved the woodburner.
Lovely walks straight from the door.
Star gazing, no light pollution at all.
The surroundings - so very peaceful.
The garden fence is only low in places and 3ft high max, more than adequate for our non-jumping dogs but no barrier to the farm collies that visit.
Steep stairs could be difficult for the less able.
The food at the Hundred (mph) Inn in Bleddfa was delicious, huge portions and the dogs were made very welcome.
The Elan Valley reservoirs and dams especially Claerwen. Water-break-its-neck waterfall.
Jenny’s Tearoom in Rhayader, try the Welsh cawl and the cakes were yummy too.
The Observatory at Knighton, very interesting.
Harry Tuffins Supermarket, Knighton, an experience!
M5 Northbound Michael Wood Services - if you walk round behind the Days Inn Hotel there are fields with a footpath good for letting the dogs off lead.
