“Clean, comfortable and excellent valur for money”
Apartment 3 (adults only) is on the ground floor of a delightful Grade 2 listed old Welsh cottage and has two bedrooms (a twin and a double), a lounge. bathroom (shower over bath) and a kitchen. There is plenty of free parking outside the front door.
It was exceptionally clean, very comfortable and well furnished and in a quiet location. Close by were great views over the harbour and, even for us who are of limited mobility, it was only a short walk to High Street and the Ffestiniog and Welsh Highland railway station. Travelling on the FR and WHR was the main reason for our visit. Yvette Hazelgrove, the owner, was very welcoming and helpful.
The central heating and hot water were plentiful and adjustable. The kitchen was well appointed with cooker, fridge freezer, microwave and dishwasher and plenty of crockery and cutlery - and a welcome pack of beverages and milk!
Jenny’s Cafe just round the corner. We went for breakfast each day, brought back various different home cooked meals and cakes and put them in the fridge ready for our evening meal.
Be Aware:Just one thing to note This lovely old cottage was not built for wheelchairs and you need to be able to step into and out of a bath to take a shower.
Local Gems:Do visit the FR and WHR - the scenery is stunning and the locos and carriages are lovingly cared for.

Fabulous place to stay....... ticked all the right boxes
It was like home-from-home it was the best equipped cottage we have ever stayed at. It was also very clean.

“Cosy private accommodation, yet in the centre of everything locally”
We have been here several times, which is recommendation in itself. This accommodation is comfortable and clean and has everything we needed.
It is very convenient to shops and harbour, and to the Ffestiniog Railway, and the Tourist Information Centre, all of which are only about three minutes’ walk away, yet is in a secluded private court. It would be a good centre for walking and for beach too had our elderly legs allowed it. There is an excellent Thai restaurant nearby
Yvette Hazelgrove is very welcoming
Walk to Borth y Gest, Thai restaurant and the heritage railways
Local Gems:Blaenau slate quarries, Beddgelert, Borth y Gest and the beach beyond, walks around Tan y Bwlch and elsewhere

“I want to go there again! ”
We stayed in the cottage on the ground floor with three bedrooms, a living room, a well-equipped kitchen and a bath.
The rooms were lovely in the way they were decorated.
The fresh flowers were a nice surprise.
Everything was clean and of good quality.
It was all as promised on the website - even better. The cottage is very lovely and quiet.
You have all the facilities you need. I’m sure you could definitely stay for a longer period of time and you would enjoy it.
Enjoy your stay!
Be Aware:There was nothing else the owner could have provided - she was lovely and kind
Local Gems:The Harbour Restaurant is definitely a place to go if you want to go in a familiar restaurant where you have the opportunity to chat with the cook. Nice place and delicious food.
The Big Rock is a nice little coffee house.
If you plan to go to Snowdon make a visit in the Tourist Information Centre beforehand. They are very friendly and show you the best way to get there and back and can give you some useful information.
WHEELCHAIR USERS PLEASE NOTE The only accommodation all on one level is the ground floor apartment at Harbour Court. It isn’t large enough to house a wheelchair inside, but the apartment is easy to use for a semi-invalid, someone who can walk around in the apartment rather than rely on their chair
