“Bling-tastic! relaxing and welcoming.”
Whilst not quite as shiny as the pictures suggested, the caravan was lovely and bling. The owners gave us a very warm welcome and showed us round the farm and caravan.
We had a BBQ and firepit, and an old fashioned churn for our water. The adjoining shower room looked new and was clean and warm.
The view was gorgeous, with a couple of friendly horses in the field. You are able to walk around the property and down to a small lake. It was quite dry due to the weather so we didn’t row out!
There is a really nice log burning stove in the caravan which we used one windy day. You can easily buy more logs from Nink and Dave (owners)
The owners were lovely.... bonkers but lovely.
The local pub in Loppington (1.5 miles away) served food at all times and was very welcoming. The locals were all very welcoming, and even waved us off when we passed through on our way home.
Use the log burner, it gets really hot and makes it all nice and cosy.
The caravan isn’t huge and the bed is only just double size.
No water supply in the caravan and only microwave for cooking.
Change the microwave for one of the small (microwave sized) ovens with hot plates on the top. We brought our own camp stove to make things like pasta and rice etc.
There is a scrap yard nearby, but it’s quite expensive. However there are a few finds to be made in the stables at Ninks!
The pub in Loppington (Dickin Arms) served food daily and had a range of 22 types of gin!! very welcoming.
