“A cottage you will want to revisit”

We’ve stayed here many times and love it. Nothing beats the peace you find at Trew Cottage. We enjoy the secluded area, the dogs love the garden, the kids love the bunkbeds!

We took a large party for Christmas - I will never forget the wonderful Christmas lunch we had and then sitting around the open fire for Christmas afternoon.

Summary:

“Magical...so relaxing”

In Trew Cottage we discovered a different part of Devon, away from the madding crowd, with spectacular views, the dramatic Atlantic coastline and a couple of great country pubs thrown in for good measure.

It was also just 20 minutes to Bude and an hour to Padstow, so we had a good shopping fix too!!

The cottage was fabulous, really homely inside with stripped floorboards, an open fireplace and a fresh, open-plan living space. The children loved the bunk beds and we slept like never before in our own comfy beds!

The views were spectacular, which we didn’t appreciate from the pictures. It was really tastefully designed inside as well.

Specifically Recommend:

The views
The fireplace
The fabulous calming atmosphere.

Local Gems:

We loved the Old Smithy Inn, the best pub in the area, near Welcombe Beach.

The children loved the Milky Way theme park with the roller coaster just a couple of miles away

...and the beaches, the fabulous beaches!
