“Coming Again”
We found the property and its situation ideal for a restful and relaxing holiday. The flat was on the third floor overlooking the harbour and town walls of Berwick.
It was also gated so your car was not only off the road, but also safe and under cover.
The flat was excellently furnished and we will be returning to explore the beautiful location again.
Situation and the beautiful, peaceful and uncrowded area to explore.

“Luxury apartment with sea-views in Berwick Upon Tweed”
Mill Wharf is a luxury apartment in a converted granary, which is right on the waterfront. It is extremely well appointed. We loved the sea views (we even saw lots of seals one day bobbing about which was magical).
Sometimes when you rent holiday homes you find the furniture a bit cheap and tacky, and the standards lower than you have at home.... not the case with this rental - it really is beautifully decorated and furnished, it was wonderful.
My husband and I are bikers and we used the apartment as a base whilst we explored the surrounding countryside. What was great for us was the secured off-street parking because it meant we didn’t need to worry about our bikes.
Berwick is a lovely old town - it is well worth a couple of days pottering round and exploring. We loved the outdoor market and the local produce that was available. We went to The Maltings Art Centre a couple of times during our stay too - it has a really busy calendar of events - theatre, music, comedy and films, something for everybody.
There is a lift to the apartment, so for older folks or anyone with poor mobility, or perhaps a pushchair to consider, it would be ideal
Local Gems:Go to Burnmouth about 6 miles north of Berwick on the A1 and follow the signs for Cove - this is a beautiful secret beach with a genuine smugglers’ tunnel cut into the cliff
