One of three traditional stone single-storey cottages ideally suited to elderly or less-mobile guests, as well as children & pets. Scottish Borders, a short distance from Berwick upon Tweed and Kelso.
Two bedrooms, one double and one twin. Bathroom with electric shower over the bath, a basin and WC. Separate walk-in shower room. Fitted kitchen and a lounge-dining room. Open coal fire and night storage heaters. Double glazed. Colour TV with DVD, telephone, washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, microwave and electric cooker. Coal, logs, electricity, bed linen, heating and towels all included. Ample parking at the the door and large grass play area with plenty of room for ball games and BBQs.
Ideal base for exploring the Borders with a railway station at Berwick for trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow or Newcastle. The River Tweed and its tributaries for salmon and trout fishing, or discover roman ruins and the odd dormant volcano!

“A must for a relaxing and quiet break”
Have had many visits to this cottage, warm in winter, lovely open fire, coal and logs aplenty. Peaceful and quiet, comfortable, clean, lots of room for the dog to run about outside.
Can visit all the border regions from here, Edinburgh not too far to travel, lovely countryside around, Ford and Etal a must-visit. Besom in Coldstream a lovely place to visit for meal and drink. A MUST VISIT. Suitable for everyone.
Buy your food bits on route to cottage, shops about 6 miles away.
