“Beautiful, peaceful cottage, Paula and Pete helped to make our holiday really special!”
A beautiful, peaceful cottage thoughtfully fitted to reflect it being close to the beach. Great for staying in or using as a base for sightseeing. The gardens are well stocked and having a private fenced garden is ideal for dog owners.
When we arrived we found a lovely welcome pack with homemade gooseberry jam, chilli chutney and an amazing lemon cake!
Paula and Pete were really helpful telling us about the area, recommending places to go that we would not have found ourselves.
It was lovely to sit in the garden and watch all the wild birds that visited the garden and to be able to listen to the dawn chorus from our bedroom as well as the owls at night.
Local Gems:We enjoyed visiting lots of places in the area, Blickling Hall was a lovely day out.
The towns of Aylsham and Holt are good for antiques and are pretty towns to wander about.
The Vicarage Gardens in East Rushton are well worth a visit, so much to see and get lost in.

“Peaceful relaxing atmosphere”
One of the nicest cottages in which we have stayed. Weather was lovely, and we loved sitting in the private garden listening to the birds.
Friendly and helpful yet unobtrusive owners. Location great for unspoilt beaches and The Broads.
A welcome pack with homemade goodies including great jam. Comfortable beds. Look forward to visiting again.
Cottage on one level, easy access.
Feeling of security, ideal for lone travellers.
Owner happy to take in online shopping order.
Large shower enclosure.

“Brilliant Cottage for Dog Owners”
We have just returned home from Church View Cottage. We had a brilliant time. Bertie and Jasper loved the garden and settled in really quickly, probably thanks to the lovely biscuits made by Paula. I think they were quite sad to leave!
The beds were sooo comfy and snug and the home made jam just wonderful, as was the chocolate cake ... still drooling ha ha.... We had everything we wanted in the cottage and it is clean and well maintained. Not every cottage weve visited has had such a homely feel.
Thank you Peter and Paula for making us feel so welcome.
If you have dogs then they will just love the fully fenced and safe garden.

“Loved every minute”
Lovely cottage, beautifully styled with vintage and nautical pieces and really comfortable.
We were made very welcome by Paula and Peter with a lovely basket of goodies and shown round the accommodation with special note to the dog facilities which were excellent. Beds, throws, bowls, toys, towells and a big, safely enclosed garden made it easy to have the dogs on holiday with us and they both enjoyed Paula’s home made dog treats.
A wonderful holiday!

“Great homely and dog-friendly cottage”
Such a lovely cottage with a secure garden which is ideal for dogs and humans alike. So lovely to find somewhere that dogs are welcomed as part of the family and are equally catered for with some many dog-friendly items included such as throws for furniture, dog bowls, tags and home made biscuits.
Paula, Peter and Weasel are so welcoming and the home made treats were great. The cottage has everything you need, comfortable beds, woodburner and well equipped kitchen.
A great place to recharge the batteries and not far away from great dog-walking beaches.

“A true dog-friendly cottage”
This cottage ticked all the boxes in terms of being a dog-friendly place to stay. All of us (including the dog) received a warm welcome and we felt right at home during our stay.
The cottage is located in a peaceful area surrounded by open fields and farmland. There are dog-friendly beaches nearby which are perfect for walks. There is a secure garden which is attached to the cottage which our dog was able to use. There is plenty of on-site parking available which was beside the cottage.
The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essential provided.
A welcome basket was waiting for us which contained delicious homemade biscuits and sweets, jam, eggs, wine and of course dog biscuits. There are plenty of dog towels, blankets, beds, bowls and any other dog essentials left in the cottage.
The cottage would be recommended to all - especially dog owners.
Having a holiday at this character cottage
Local Gems:Local clean beaches (few miles away) which were perfect when walking the dog.
Many dog-friendly pubs within and outside the local area.
Delicious fish and chips at Cromer.
Close approximately to a local town which has a Tesco and many take-aways.

“A cosy, super dog-friendly cottage in a superb location”
I cannot recommend this cottage enough! Such a friendly welcome with a delicious home made welcome pack (including gluten-free biscuits!).
Cottage is super cosy with a cute nautical theme, my 14 year old son loved his built-in cabin-style bed (and the super-fast WiFi!), master bedroom was comfy, shower was amazing. Well equipped kitchen and lovely sunny dining room.
Perfect location for fabulous beaches and super dog-friendly. Lovely enclosed garden, can’t wait to go back!

“Peter and Paula are perfect hosts - very helpful and friendly without being too fussy”
We have had a totally chilled out week at Church View Cottage - Paula and Peter were so very friendly and helpful.
The cottage was warm cozy and spotless with the added bonus of a lovely welcome basket for us and the dogs. Would recommend highly to anyone wanting a home-from-home break.
Even had a lovely log burner which unfortunately we didn’t get the chance to use as the weather was glorious.
Very dog-friendly.
Cozy yet ideally located for getting out and about

“We’ll be back!”
The cottage is lovely, there’s plenty of space for two legged and four legged guests, a quiet and dog-secure garden (fences high enough to deter all but the most determined jumpers) and the kitchen is well-equipped (we’d have loved a dishwasher, but that’s a minor detail!) and a log burning stove for when it’s too cold or wet to go out.
Good water pressure and plenty of hot water for showers, nice fluffy towels supplied. The WiFi is excellent for when we felt like keeping in touch with the outside world. Delicious welcome pack (homemade cucumber relish, nom, nom as well as very well received home made doggy treats)
Footpath across fields just across the road or a short drive to either Happisburgh or Cart Gap for coastal dog walks. Only downer was the rubbish British summer weather....
Early morning walks on the beach (tide permitting of course)
Local Gems:The Star at Ingham for a special occasion meal was fab.
The Nelson Head further south did a very yummy (and filling) pub lunch.
Cart Gap was almost always virtually empty so dogs could run around to their hearts’ content without worrying about bothering others.

“If you love peace and quiet this is the place to go”
Very much suited to couples and dog owners.
Extras included, welcome tray, dog biscuits, and all doggy equipment if not bringing one’s own.
No hazards to be aware of.
Location just right for beaches and shops.
Expectations were fully met.
A lovely relaxing property which caters equally well for two and four legged people.
A great deal of thought has been applied in catering the needs of both. We took everything for our dog, bed, food, toys etc. but these were available in the house if needed.
The cottage and particularly the beds, was a comfortable home from home. I would highly recommend Paula and Peter’ cottage for a relaxing comfortable stay.
If you only visit one pub, The Star Inn down the road is the one to visit.
All the local beaches have facilities for dogs running free. We visited all the local ones.
Not really interested in tourist attractions so cannot comment.
Again, our journey home is only two and half hours, so made it without stops.

“Loved it!”
We had a lovely time. We were warmly welcomed with a delightful and delicious welcome pack full of home made goodies.

“Dog-friendly little gem”
So nice to find somewhere which really welcomed our dogs, not just tolerated them. The garden is secure and my three dogs enjoyed racing round in it and I could relax knowing ghat they were safe.
The cottage is well equipped and the welcome pack is great with enough well thought out goodies for the first day. No shopping needed in a hurry.
It’s the small touches at this cottage which make it so nice, we felt like guests rather than paying customers.

Great garden where Flo could play. Great welcome folder too.
Absolutely exceeded all our expectations.

A truly relaxing and comfortable holiday cottage. It had everything we could possibly need - not just for us, but also for our three lurchers. We were made to feel extremely welcome, and thoroughly enjoyed the home-made scones and jam in our welcome pack. The dogs loved their home-made biscuits too!

This was our first dog-friendly holiday break, so was not sure what to expect, we shouldn’t have worried, we were made so welcome.

“Excellent for dogs”
Wonderful location, brilliant deserted beach first thing in the morning to watch the sunrise and spot the occasional grey seal. Miles of sign posted country walks on the doorstep.
The enclosed garden was a dream for the dogs and a real peaceful sun trap to read a book or just relax. The cottage has everything you could need. Paula, Peter and Weasel were very welcoming and the homemade treats were lovely.
We certainly would return and would have no hesitation in recommending Church View Cottage for humans and dogs alike.

“Lovely homely, welcoming cottage. ”
What a lovey place!
We had a lovely welcome from Paula, Pete and Weasel the dog. Paula showed us around the cottage, which was just as good as the photos had been on their web page.
Everything was clean and vey well presented and she had also made a welcome pack with home made savoury treats (I will be cheeky and ask for sweet next time so we will have had both options) and some local produce.
We really needed a home-from-home with our two dogs and they got it as they were provided a large crate (for over night) on request and had a safe and enclosed garden. Literally everything was there that we needed for all of us. We will be back.
Lovely. Comfy. Bright. Spacious. Homely.
You must go!
Stay as long as you can. So peaceful!
Local Gems:Sea Palling is a beautiful beach. Brilliant for dogs and their owners.

“A highly recommended property ideal for that needed break.”
A fabulous break. There were lots of good walks for the dog and us and the sea was within 10 minutes’ drive. The accommodation is deceptively spacious and equipped to a high standard - the towels and bed sheets were absolutely gorgeous.
We were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Peter and Paul, and their lovely dog, Weasel with the most delightful welcome basket, which even included treats for our dog. The garden was totally secure which our dog very much appreciated and with it being South facing always had the sun on it which was lovely whenever we wanted to sit out.
We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing high-quality place to stay for either a short break or a longer time.

“The perfect place to unwind with the dogs”
The cottage was perfectly dog-friendly. It’s the first time we have taken the dogs on holiday and were a bit apprehensive. Our worries disappeared when we met the owners who were very laid back about everything and provided all we needed.
The enclosed garden was particularly good. The beds were comfortable and all mod cons in the kitchen. Our teenage son was happy as the cottage has Wi-Fi. Overall it was just right. The location was nice and peaceful but not too far from amenities or the beach.
