“Tranquillty in a quirky cottage”
The website description of this property didn’t do it justice...it’s unique and hard to describe....We were not expecting such quirkiness and loved the use of colour and furnishings. It was very private yet extremely well-placed to visit all parts of South Pembrokeshire easily.
The Tin Bungalow is a place of real tranquillity with views for miles. It is comfortable and furnished in a quirky way which makes it a really interesting place to stay.
We were there in the summer and were able to fully enjoy the garden, but it would be really warm in the winter as it has central heating and a stove and a marvellous sun room.
It is well equipped with radios, DVD, TV with Sky, and has plenty of information about where to go and what to see in the area.
It is very near a river estuary which is great for birdwatching and walking (and has a lovely traditional pub), and there are an amazing number of coves and beaches within a short drive.
Both Tenby and Pembroke are reached easily and there’s good shopping in Narbeth, as well as several eating places we enjoyed.
You need to have a car (or bikes!)
It would have been helpful to have had access to more bed sheets, as the duvet was rather hot in July.
A more comfortable sofa would have been nice!
The Deli at Narbeth
The pub in Angle
The Cresselly Arms
The Beach Hut boutique in Pembroke
The Yerbeston farm shop just down the road was very useful for milk and a few bits we needed
