“Would love to visit again”
A beautiful place to stay in a beautiful village.
The owner was an expert tour guide and helped us arrange the places we wanted to visit. He provided directions, maps and advice.
Also appreciated that recycling was encouraged by the owner in a practical easy-to-do way.
Great area - rural yet close to the Lakes and Eden Valley
Local Gems:The local pub, Shepherds Inn, is great.
Food and atmosphere is wonderful. It is a pleasant 30 minute walk away from the cottage.
Travelled from Manchester Airport to the cottage and then to south Wales

“The cottage is fab and so are the owners”
The cottage is beautiful - everything that you need is there... and more.
It’s very peaceful and relaxing and dogs love it there.
The surroundings are just miles of beautiful views in a quaint little village.
Everything is just perfect. It’s our third year there this year and we have booked up for next Easter as well.
It will always be a very special place for me as I was proposed to under a high force waterfall on Easter day 2007 and we are getting married in August 2009!
Mark and Pat are two great people - very down-to-earth and love dogs. Their cottages are kept to a very high standard.
Local Gems:We went on walks with our 2 year old dog, Molly.
En Route:We travelled from Birmingham to Penrith - had a coffee in the local bakery just before you get to the cottage.
