Summary:

“Stunning adventure holiday for the outdoor-loving family”

First time for us to stay in a historical listed cottage and would definitely recommend the experience.

The three bedrooms were larger than we expected and dining room, kitchen and lounge fireplace were quite funky and charming.

Must venture outside of Carmel for all activities. A great holiday for the adventurous.

Specifically Recommend:

Tenby Harbour and Beach

Rest Bay, Porthcawl

Hiking behind the Waterfalls in Brecon Beacons

Canoeing to Hay on Wye

Southerndown Beach-Fossils

Be Aware:

Worth noting are the low beams & doorways, and two steep staircases in the cottage.

Local Gems:

Hiking in the mountains, behind Waterfalls

Beaches, Body Surfing and rock pools

River canoeing

Climbing sand dunes

Simply lovely.

The cottage was simple, tasteful and cosy.
