“Gorgeous rural cottage with the bonus of a hot tub”
Lovely peaceful location and private - just cows and farmer passing for milking twice a day!
Minimal but tasteful furnishing and enough to be really comfortable for our stay. I loved the old slate floors in the main cottage and modern concrete floors and walls in the side section. A great combination of old and new.
Heating worked really well and warmed the cottage very quickly - we rang the housekeeper to find out how to get it switched on
Two sets of stairs to bedroom - one a ladder-style, the other a typical cottage staircase, not too steep and fine to use
Brilliant cottage for family, couple & dog. You need to drive to get anywhere - approx. 10 mins to town.
Be Aware:Shower does flood the bathroom floor but as it is concrete it is not too much of an issue. Also bathroom taps modern and difficult to turn on and off but that’s minor for such a nice cottage
Hot tub was lovely and relaxing but glass door VERY heavy and difficult to use - 2 of us struggled but got it open about a foot.
Days out - Pen bryn beach, St Davids, Caerfai bay, Whitesands, Poppit sands, Mwnt beach, Cenarth Falls, Strumble head.
Shopping and castle ruins at Newcastle Emlyn and lots of antique-vintage shops as you drive around

“Old cottage with a modern twist”
Bryncyn is a lovely cottage situated in a lovely area that has lovely beaches and nature reserves nearby.
Possibly best used as a weekend break only.
Mwnt beach - a small sheltered beach which is great for families.
Penbryn beach.
St David’s
Welsh Wildlife Centre
Despite the luxury of a hot tub (which was great) it is in fact quite basic - no freezer, washing machine or dryer. If you intend using the loft bedroom you will need to be athletic and careful!

“Amazing and very relaxing. Also, beside the cottage were a couple of ponies, which made my little girl very happy”
The cottage was in good condition and was in the middle of the Welsh countryside.
We loved the outdoors and the touristic attractions.
The Hot tub was a big bonus.
Definitely visit the local towns and castles, specially the Laugharne!!
Be Aware:Don’t use too much water otherwise the shower gets blocked.
Would be great if the heating was working straight away and hot tub warmed up
