“Exquisite bed and breakfast - a real gem!”
We found this real gem of a bed and breakfast hidden away in Morcombelake. It was exquisite, the rooms were facilitated perfectly.
The owner, David Green, made us extremely welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were second to none and we felt completely relaxed when we left.
The views from the property were absolutely breathtaking. We have every intention of returning to Wisteria Cottage.
The breakfast!
Local Gems:Sea Town is a fantastic place to visit, with a beautiful walk to the Golden Cap followed by dinner at the Anchor Inn.

“Lovely, quiet B&B, tucked away in the country, with generous Dorset hospitality”
This lovely rural B&B is tucked away up a country lane. It’s quiet and pretty, with beautiful views across the whole valley.
The cottage is run by David, who is thoughtful and helpful. He made us tea on the patio when we arrived, made sure we had everything we needed, and cooked the most delicious breakfast. Talking of the breakfast, it was all fresh, and the choice was really good.
The room was clean and well appointed, with a good selection of teas and coffees, fresh milk and biscuits. Thick fluffy towels, cute en-suite, again lovely and clean.
I would not hesitate to recommend Wisteria Cottage to family and friends, for a short stay or for longer to explore the beautiful Dorset countryside.
Lovely breakfast and comfortable rooms.
Local Gems:The brewery tour at Palmers in Bridport is good, and we enjoyed Abbotsbury Gardens.
