“Fantastic! We loved the Spey Valley and the Cairngorm National Park.”
Loved this shooting lodge. Tartan carpets and all things Scottish. Great food and really, really nice staff. They were really helpful.
Loved the food. Scottish beef, I was told that they use the same beef as used by Gordon Ramsey and you could tell. Hubby had venison, the best he had ever had. Homemade marmalade in the morning and best eggs.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lodge. Yes we would go back and would recommend.
Have the pudding!
Local Gems:Grantown on Spey. Great small Scottish town with wonderful little shops. Loved the butchers, fantastic haggis and great fishing-shooting shops.
Oh you must visit the little pet shop which has a great collection of animals.
The Cairngorms. Fantastic views and a little known National Park. Small steam train that runs from Aviemore. A real treat.
